The young learners eagerly accepted their awards and certificates from representatives of MR.DIY and World Vision. They were also given awards for various accomplishments such as Perfect Attendance, Most Behaved, and Most Improved.

In a special segment of the program, representatives from World Vision presented MR.DIY with the Project Salute Award for its overarching corporate social responsibility program Acts of Kindness (AOK).
The partnership with World Vision recognizes the importance of education in providing a brighter future for children, rooted in one of AOK’s core pillars of Youth and Education.
The salute highlighted the significant contributions of MR.DIY towards the success of the program and their commitment to supporting educational development.
Initiated by World Vision in partnership with the Department of Education, Brigada Pagbasa is an after-school reading intervention platform that aims to bring together community partners and education stakeholders to help improve learners’ reading skills in the context of partnerships.
It seeks to address the pressing need for improved reading and literacy skills among schoolchildren, assessing their reading readiness and comprehension levels using the Literacy and Numeracy Diagnostic and Proficiency Assessment Tool (Lit DAPAT).
This comprehensive tool aids literacy facilitators in identifying areas for improvement and crafting targeted interventions to address specific learning needs.
This collaborative effort among MR. DIY, and World Vision’s Brigada Pagbasa serve as a beacon of hope, illustrating the transformative power of community partnerships in building a brighter future for generations to come.
