The first of its kind cross-culture series premieres on Viu this April 30!

This delectable cross-culture series premieres on April 30th, embarking on a delightful journey that proves love comes in all flavors.

A Culinary Adventure Across Borders

Secret Ingredient stars Sang Heon Lee, who plays Ha-Joon, a Korean man who has it all—a top executive at a global 500 company hailing from one of the most distinguished families in South Korea and is consistently regarded as Asia’s top 10 most eligible bachelors. He suddenly decides to leave behind the luxurious life he is accustomed to to find some answers and hopefully, rekindle the past. His journey for answers leads him to meet Maya, played by Julia Barretto, and Chef Arif, played by Nicholas Saputra, who offer him a fresh perspective on life and teach him forgiveness, understanding and acceptance.

The Secret Ingredient is the first Viu Original regional drama series to feature an ensemble Asian cast. This unique production done in a collaboration Unilever Nutrition Southeast Asia and Indonesia, features household favorites such as Knorr, Lady’s Choice, Bango, Royco, Sariwangi, and Buavita, promises an experience that goes beyond entertainment.

To officially launch the series, an immersive experience was held in Market Market where guests were taken into the Secret Ingredient world filled with games, prizes and interactive installations allowing them imagine themselves as Maya in the kitchen.
