Passion and self-expression took center stage as Filipino Gen Zs were inspired to unapologetically chase their “wants” – whether in fashion, gaming, or most especially, dancing. Embracing individuality and bold declarations of desire, Royal, one of the Philippines’ well loved flavored drinks, encourages young Filipinos to live life on their own terms.

At the heart of this campaign is the Royal HATAW? Ito Ang Gusto Ko Dance Competition, a nationwide event that celebrates the passion, creativity, and unique energy of Filipino dancers.

On December 7, the competition crowned its champions at Ayala Malls Market! Market! Fifteen regional qualifiers from Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon showcased their talents, battling for the coveted title of the first-ever Royal Dance Crew and the grand prize of PHP 500,000.

Grand Champion: Folk Jumpers
First runner-up: The Crew
Second runner-up: Astrophile
“Ito Ang Gusto Crew” People’s Choice Award: Slim Shadow

The first and second runners-up took home P200,000 and P100,000, respectively, while the Ito Ang Gusto Crew (People’s Choice Award) received P50,000. Stay tuned for event highlights on Royal’s Facebook and Instagram.
