Panda Express Celebrates Happy Orange Chicken Day 2026 with an All-Out Orange Experience

Panda Express, known as the Home of the Original Orange Chicken in the Philippines, is marking Orange Chicken Day with a celebration built around its most iconic dish — crispy chicken wok-tossed in a bold, sweet, and tangy orange sauce.

First introduced by Panda Express in 1987, the Original Orange Chicken® revolutionized American Chinese cuisine and became a cultural phenomenon, remaining the go-to order for regulars dining with family, friends, or on their own. Its fiery counterpart, Hot Orange Chicken, made a spicy comeback on July 15, giving fans an extra kick of flavor.

An Immersive Orange Chicken Kitchen Experience

This year, Panda Express brings a playful twist to its anniversary celebration with an immersive Orange Chicken Kitchen experience at Panda Express SM Megamall. The all-out orange concept includes:

Decorated window decals themed around the celebration
A claw machine for guests to enjoy
A giant takeout pail installation for photo ops

Adding to the fun is a friendly Team OG vs. Team Spicy showdown, pitting fans of the Original Orange Chicken against those who prefer Hot Orange Chicken.

Special Orange Chicken Day Offers

To sweeten the celebration, Panda Express is offering guests 10% off orders with Orange Chicken, with a minimum spend of ₱699, available through GrabFood — a great excuse to share the dish with family and friends.

From everyday cravings to meals shared with the people who matter most, Orange Chicken continues to be the flavor that makes any occasion a little more special.
