Witness the streets of BGC transform into a fitness fest with FitStreet 2024: The Mind-Body Connection

Elevate your wellbeing in a weekend dedicated to your holistic well-being!

Get ready to sweat and keep your health in check as Bonifacio Global City (BGC) brings back its action-packed weekend fitness fest—FitStreet 2024: The Mind-Body Connection!

Putting holistic wellbeing at the core of its activities, BGC, through FitStreet, aims to not only make fitness a part of everybody’s lifestyle, but to also inspire all to invest in their personal growth and prioritize all aspects of their well-being—be it physical, emotional, or mental.

Spanning three days, FitStreet 2024 will see its nearly-60 brand partners hosting free workouts, demos, and talks highlighting the importance of a 360º mind-body connection, and ultimately enabling all to make informed decisions and positive changes towards their health and lifestyles.

Rock it out and work it out as POUND Fit Master Trainer’s Cass Salandanan brings out the inner rockstar in everyone with high-energy workouts, happening on all days of FitStreet! Seasoned and budding dancers are also in for a treat as G-Force, who’s also set to open their newest branch at Bonifacio Stopover soon, will also be hosting bright and breezy K-pop classes!

FitStreet 2024 is also proud to be home to new fitness trends alongside traditional workouts, part of which is Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS)—known for its usage of wireless devices that stimulate muscle fibers. Leading the charge is NEXTGEN EMS Fitness with their 20-minute EMS workout on May 4 to 5, perfect for those looking to improve their physical and mental health.

Other forms and intensities of workouts will be free for all to join in as well, including F45 Training’s high-intensity exercises designed to push limits; Bonifacio South Street-based Spartans Boxing Club’s boxing classes for kids on May 5; as well as the Grand Ice Bath also on May 5—with an open invitation for all to partake in the Ice Plunge Challenge!

Making fitness accessible for all

Beyond educating on the holistic benefits of exercise, FitStreet has another goal in showing how inclusive fitness and healthy living can be. For this reason, the weekend fitness fest has even more activities and surprises in store.

Happening on May 4 and 5, kids can take part in the Little Champs Push Bike Race, mounted in partnership with the National Bicycle Organization to take their cycling skills to the test! Just as well, yoga studio Soul Space will be offering sessions for senior citizens on May 4, while kids will get their chance to be on the mat on May 5, as a way to amp up holistic health even further.

A number of notable fitness figures will be joining the festivities as well, with fitness trainer Will Devaughn set to help kids power up with his Will’s Warriors Bootcamp, packed with fun fitness challenges and yummy snacks to boot for kids aged 4-7 years (May 4), and kids aged 8-14 years (May 5); and Zumba instructor Aksana Ancheta’s lively Zumba workouts for families (May 4) and senior citizens (May 5)!

In making fitness fun for all, FitStreet 2024 will also see the partnership between MIXXEDFIT and the Autism Society of the Philippines come to life as they hold MOVE MANIA, an upbeat and inclusive fitness session inviting all to fuel up and get healthy! BGC has also partnered up with the National Commission of Senior Citizens to promote the importance of active aging, with workouts, workshops, and massage sessions specifically designed for our senior citizens.

Elevate your well-being and boost your weekend with BGC at FitStreet 2024: The Mind-Body Connection, happening May 3 to 5 at BGC! For more information and to keep updated, be sure to follow BGC on Facebook and Instagram.
