KINETIX + : The Philippines first luxury boutique gym is opening this October

A new training haven to help you be stronger, recover faster, and live longer

A healthy body is immensely beneficial to an individual’s general well-being. Not only can having a strong physique improve your physical appearance, but it also has a significant impact on your mental and emotional health. It has been established that increasing one’s resistance-training program or engaging in more physical activity in general reduces the risk of developing a number of chronic diseases. Building a strong body, on the other hand, is no easy task, but if you’re going to put in the effort, you might as well do it in style.

KINETIX + (Plus) is the Philippines’ first luxury boutique gym, which will open this October. Located at Level 3, Shops at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati. “It’s a vocation of ours, to spread the word that you have to be stronger physically because physical strength encompasses your physical capacity,” says Head Coach and one of the co-founders of Kinetix + Marlon Lugue. As a powerlifter and fitness professional for nearly two decades, Coach Marlon is an unwavering advocate of strength training. He believes that one should be strong initially and then use that strength as a foundation to push through the subsequent phases of body improvement. “At Kinetix +, we’ll have this tool called a Strength Meter, it’s basically a battery of tests that determines your current fitness level. We plot that against their individual goals…It gives us a clearer picture on who you are right now in terms of activity level and what you can do right now,” says Coach Marlon. Kinetix + is all about curating experiences for certain types of clients. Grueling workouts shouldn’t be as unpleasant as it should be.

Kinetix +’ s goal of providing the best service for its clients will include a strong emphasis on exclusivity. Because Kinetix + only takes 250 members, the client-to-coach ratio would be quite close, allowing for a more focused fitness training program.  The upscale boutique gym will feature cutting-edge gym equipment, including the Biostrength line machines, which are AI-driven and patented by NASA. Kinetix + will be the first in the Philippines and just the second in Asia to house these Biostrength line machines. Kinetix + will also contain bespoke gym equipment, from racks to plates, custom-made based on the coaches’ exact specifications and what they want their clients to experience.

Administrative Director for Kinetix +’s Luis Gatmaytan says that it’s not just the actual equipment and training that they’re focusing on, it’s a sensory experience when members come to the gym. The fitness facility prides itself on its meticulous attention to detail, including various elements such as lighting, sound, and smells, with the aim of optimizing clients’ workout experience and promoting relaxation throughout their time at the gym. “To provide a more wholistic approach to the clients, we’ll also have a café wherein they can grab a bite or get coffee,” Luis shares.

Luis, who is a licensed Physiotherapist, will also lead the recovery service of Kinetix +. Both Coach Marlon and Luis promote the practice of having a good recovery for every strenuous resistance training. “We’ve added a few modalities for recovery that are not available in our other gym…like this exercise with oxygen therapy, you have a surplus of oxygen while you’re doing cardio exercises. We also have infrared and red-light therapy available. We also have percussion therapy for everyone to use as well as an infrared dry sauna, to name a few” shares Luis.

It is never too late to become strong. Allow Kinetix + to assist you in becoming a new and improved version of yourself.  Sign up now at KINETIX + Pre-selling booth at the SHOPS Ayala Triangle Mall, Lower Ground Level.
