FATHER’S DAY DELIGHTS AT CITY OF DREAMS MANILA

A special Father’s Day menu awaits dads at Crystal Dragon. Choices include Chilled Spicy Marinated 25 Heads Chilean Abalone with squids, shrimps, and clams, among other Chinese specialties.

As Father’s Day is fast approaching, City of Dreams Manila unveils offerings especially made for dads to feel like a king on their special day.

This award-winning restaurant distinguished for its refined Cantonese and regional Chinese specialties presents an exclusive Father’s Day menu available from June 12 to 18, fit for an exceptional celebration at any time. The choices include Chilled Spicy Marinated 25 Heads Chilean Abalone with squids, shrimps, and clams; Double-boiled Sea Treasure Soup with maca, fish maw, conpoy and pork stomach; Roasted Farm Duck with black truffle sauce; Sauteed Australian Asparagus with shrimps and morel mushrooms; and Braised Fujian Fragrant Rice with assorted seafood and eryngii mushroom.

Fathers dining on June 18 will receive a complimentary gift.

Take dad to a date at Nobu Manila’s Sunday Brunch and indulge in the renowned new-style Japanese cuisine of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

Nobu Manila

The popular Nobu Sunday Brunch is a feast fit for a king, featuring a lavish spread of new-style Japanese cuisine popularized by world renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. At P4, 388 net per person, guests can indulge on an extensive selection of appetizers; kushiyaki or grilled and skewered meat and vegetables and premium sashimi, sushi and maki roll creations matched with Nobu signature sauces, available in a buffet combined with a special a la carte menu. The featured Nobu Sashimi Trio of Tuna Matsuhisa, Yellow Tail Jalapeño and Salmon Karashi Su Miso, and the carvings of the day — Roasted Whole US striploin, and Smoked Beef Brisket with choice of creamy wasabi, au jus and mushroom wasabi sauce – are the brunch’s irresistible centerpieces. Filipino-inspired dishes prepared the Nobu way such as the Wagyu Beef Sisig along with other specialty dishes, salads, soups, and desserts and beverages complete the dining experience.

Fete dad with Nobu Manila’s eight-course tasting menu, which is a perfect option for a dinner celebration. At (P8,871.42) net per person, the special menu entices with a chef’s choice of appetizer followed by: Tuna Tataki;  a selection of assorted sushi and chilled chawanmushi of seasonal vegetables; Yellowtail Tosazu with crispy red onion and olive oil; Salmon Sashimi Salad; Pan-roasted Seabass with pickled watermelon, amasu ponzu and balsamic caviar; Grilled Wagyu Beef with crispy kabocha, nasu, shitake and garlic SMR (soy-mirin reduction) come after. Chocolate and Yogurt, consisting of chocolate mousse, yogurt, vanilla crumble and ube ice cream provide a luscious conclusion to the meal.

Jing Ting’s Wok-fried Hand-pulled Noodles with kimchi and shrimp is a delight to the palate.

Staycation
