Boehringer Ingelheim leads collaborative efforts in essential vaccination and neutering initiatives towards a rabies-free Marinduque

Boehringer Ingelheim, in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC), the Field Epidemiology Training Program Alumni Foundation, Inc. (FETPAFI), the municipal government of Marinduque and provincial veterinarians, spearheaded the Stop Rabies program to restore Marinduque’s rabies-free status. This collaborative effort focuses on increasing vaccination rates with a comprehensive campaign targeting dogs and cats across the province, while also promoting responsible pet ownership through mass spaying and castration.

The Stop Rabies program supports the MiMaRoPa One Time, Big, an extension of the Marinduque Rabies Eradication Program, with the goal of making MiMaRoPa the first rabies-free region in the Philippines.
