Ayala Malls Manila Bay hosts the launch of the first-ever SHEIN pop-up store in the Philippines

The fastest-rising global fashion online hub, Shein, brings its signature online style to fashionistas on the ground in the recent weekend-long pop-up held in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The Shein pop-up is their first in the country, following massively successful pop-ups all over Europe and the US, with droves of stylistas going crazy for the season’s must-haves at affordable prices.

Chris Maglanoc, Ayala Malls President shares, “We are happy to be the chosen home of Shein’s first-ever pop-up in the Philippines. Shein’s business and customer base growth in the past few years has been dramatic. And we saw the perfect fit of completing the shopping experience for our patrons in Ayala Malls Manila Bay who enjoy both online and on-ground shopping.” He hints, “This is just the first of things to come with Ayala Malls and Shein.

The three-day pop-up store’s launch was graced by Shein’s first-ever Philippine ambassador, the radiant Belle Mariano.

The choice of Filipina actress Belle Mariano as a Shein brand ambassador demonstrates the importance of the Philippines market to Shein and its vision of aggressively penetrating the local market. SHEIN quotes, “Belle Mariano’s image as a young, vibrant, and talented actress on the rise reflects SHEIN’s character as a vibrant image teeming with potential and vitality. We’re glad to be able to bring our brand closer to the public through the first pop-up store in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. We appreciate the support of Ayala Malls. We hope the fashion-loving patrons of Ayala Malls will look forward to more surprises from both groups in the future.

The three-day event gathered an impressive lineup of guests at the mall activity center. Familiar faces included stylephiles like Small Laude, Sam Pinto, Chie Filomeno, Toni Sia, David Guison, Angelique Manto, Jessica Yang, Vanna Garcia, and Binibining Pilipinas beauty queens, to mention a few. The fashion show was hosted by the bubbly Janeena Chan.
