Egg Tarts, Roast and More at the newly-reopen Honolulu Café

Whatever you’re craving, Honolulu Cafe has got you covered with its diverse menu that offers a unique culinary experience. It was one of the first to introduce the cha chaan teng (“tea restaurant”) dining concept when it opened in Hong Kong in 1940, and it continues to make waves in the local food scene, especially because of its world-famous egg tarts and other traditional comfort food.

The Honolulu Egg Tart is a one-of-a-kind pastry that has 192 layers of flaky crust with a luscious and creamy filling. Pair it with the restaurant’s coffee or milk tea and you’ve got yourself an afternoon delight! Their signature egg tarts are baked daily so you’re assured of their freshness. But there’s more to the restaurant than just modern pastries.

A must-try savory dish such as Curry Fish Ball, Beef Brisket Curry in a casserole, and specialty roasts—Soy Chicken, Roasted Pork Belly, and Roasted BBQ Pork. Quench your thirst with—Hong Kong-style Coffee (hot or cold), Hong Kong-style Milk Tea, Yuan Yang (Mixed tea and coffee with condensed milk, watercress honey paired with delicious Egg tarts, Honolulu Bo Lo Bun, Bo Lo BBQ Pork Bun, Bo Lo Bun with Butter and more.
