Introducing the Summer 2022 Collection of M&S

Marks & Spencer continues to deliver everyday style, trusted quality, and value, with an even more focused and relevant offering through their Summer 2022 collection. Working hard to understand the lifestyle changes of many of their customers, they have created collections and outfits that are stylish, comfortable, and versatile; which is exactly what Dr. Geraldine Zamora, a rheumatologist and public personality, is looking for when buying clothes. 

WOMENSWEAR

With a modern hi-lo styling approach, M&S brings out feminine dresses with fresh in-house designs in easy, wearable styles. Sustainability is at the heart of the collection with attention to detail high up on the design agenda too. The collection features a confident and uplifting color palette that compliments the change in mindset as we continue to plan outfits for the remaining summer events. Taking into consideration markets with warmer climates, most of the collection pieces are made from comfy linen.

From a shirred square neck top and animal print blouse to a breezy shirred midi smock dress, chic oversized long-sleeve shirt, and a bright V-Neck Mini Wrap Dress, there will surely be a wardrobe staple that will fit a shopper’s every need. As for a doctor’s go-to clothing piece, Dr. Zamora shared “Dresses that are easy to put on and use under the white coat or clinic PPE, as well as shorts and comfortable tops”.

MENSWEAR

M&S started off the summer season with the introduction of the indigo trend; a celebration of versatile wardrobe staples and affirming M&S as a destination for denim.

Continuing their exploration of color along with the summer season, they introduced the laundered trend – championing a fresh, neutral palette that creates a sense of calm, comprising ecru and warm beige through to pastel yellow and sage green. Working hard to incorporate sustainable practices, vegetable, tea, and food waste dyes are used for the collection. Laundered materials are soft to touch, and hero natural fabrications such as linen and sustainably sourced cotton.

Shoppers can continue to get into the summer holiday mood with linen-rich Hawaiian shirts, bold striped cotton polo shirts, summer-themed graphic t-shirts and swim shorts, elastic chino shorts, and drawstring jersey shorts.

“I love the quality, the vibrant colors, and of course the lowered prices! My mom introduced me to M&S when I was in my teens since she would buy stuff there. It feels great that it’s a place we can shop in together”, Dr. Zamora shares. Expect sustainable colorful pieces combining classic and contemporary styles at a better value with the Spring Summer 22 collection.
