Diamond Hotel Philippines ushered in the holiday cheer with accents of red and shimmers of silver at their recent Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the hotel lobby.

The annual tradition brought an extra yuletide glow with musical performances of the scholars of Bantay Bata 163 ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya Foundation, Philippine Institute for the Deaf, Pansol Choir QC, and Bayanihan, The National Folk Dance Company of the Philippines. Of course, Santa Claus was also there to join the merriment and honored guests officially welcomed the most joyous season of the year as the 25-foot Christmas tree came alight.

Distinguished guests who graced the joyful celebration included Miss Earth Fire 2017 Lada Akimova, Miss Earth Water 2017 Juliana Franco, Miss Earth Air 2017 Nina Robertson, Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco, Program Director of Bantay Bata 163 ABS-CBN Foundation Ms. Jing Castañeda-Velasco, Ms. Tingting Cojuangco, Head of Bilateral Cooperation and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Mexico Mr. Arturo Villaruel, and Diamond Hotel Philippines General Manager Ms. Vanessa Ledesma-Suatengco.

As part of the hotel’s annual pledge of giving back, the hotel partnered with Bantay Bata 163 of ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya Foundation. Guests may give joy to the children of Bantay Bata by donating as low as Php300 for a Christmas ornament, which the hotel will then hang at the lobby Charity Tree with the donor’s name to acknowledge their kindness.
