Katsu Yakitori and Japanese Grill

The Japanese exudes sheer simplicity and style in every fundamental thing they do, and eating is no exception. Japanese cuisine is so straightforward and basic, that its simplicity is a genius in its own form.   This very same thought and principle is what bore Katsu.
The Katsu menu boasts of 30 varieties of yakitoris –  the Japanese version to  skewered barbeques.  Meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables are simply seasoned with Okinawa sea salt , charcoal-grilled,  and basted with a touch of sweetness and glaze.   Yakitoris are one of Japanese popular food, and at Katsu, you can enjoy it right in the heart of the Fort.
Katsu takes their tonkatsus (breaded cutlets) seriously.  A staple in Japanese cuisine, tonkatsu are normally served along side cabbage dressing.   Thinly sliced cabbage with Katsu’s homemade salad dressing complements the bold taste of their signature tonkatsu sauce.  Sesame seeds are served in a traditional Japanese mortar with serrated sides.   This allows the guest to crush the sesame seeds and mix in the tonkatsu sauce for added flavor.  Thus, eating tonkatsu at Katsu becomes an interactive experience.
Taking center stage as well are the sushi, specialty rolls, tempura and teriyaki, which deserve an equal billing in the menu.   The food, staying true to its principle, is simple, bringing out the natural flavors of the dishes and complemented by only fresh and quality ingredients.
What sets Katsu apart is the very tasteful interior, minimalist yet warm, clean but sophisticated.  Enjoy al fresco dining in the midst of the Bonifacio Global City.  Come and see for yourself, be it for a power lunch, a dinner date, or capping the night out with family or friends.  Katsu awaits for you to experience a state of Japanese culinary simplicity.
